My second Surgery was for removal gall bladder stone. I was suffering from Gall Bladder stone problem since for one year. Initially I had mild to strong pain in stomach and i would cure it through Soda, pain killer. But one night, the pain just became stronger and stronger and unbearable. I kept on vomiting whole night, none of the medicine was working and I couldn't sleep. My family kept awake with me whole night not knowing that it was not acidity but gall bladder stone which were causing stomach ache. Whole night my sister sat by my side giving me rekie.
Next morning I rushed to the hospital, Even after puking out for more than 40 times ultimately bile juice started coming out, I dressed up in best possible way before going to doctor. I hate to look bad even if I am in worst health condition. But the fact is dressing up in best dress always makes you feel better. Doctor was on regular round. I sat waiting for him to return with extreme pain in my stomach.
The first thing I told doctor was I am having severe acidity and I have been vomiting whole night with extereme Pain. Doctor after investigation told me it was not acidity by gall bladder stone.
Point to remember: Never diagnose yourself, let doctor do his job. Don't take wrong pills, they will not help you in anyways.
I was sent for Sonography, the radiologist being my friend's husband, was shock to see my condition. After sonography, I and report were sent back to hospital. My family was informed that I will have to undergo surgery and probably gall bladder will have to be removed. I was least worried about surgery but as usual my mother went into panic mode. Thanx to all those story writers in society who make 'n' number of horror story about surgery going wrong, people dying blah blah.
I was admited to hospital and was asked not to take anything after nine pm. and surgery will take place at 12.00 next day. I and my younger sister decided to stay in hospital, sending all chicken hearts back to home. After all were gone we watched movie, enjoyed television and went to sleep. Next morning was D-day.
Next morning I and my sister woke up. I had to go for sonography and then for operation. I wore one of my fav. dress, did basic make up and went for sonograpy. Doctor couldn't believe that I was about to be operated in three hours time. After it was confirm that stones were too small and gall bladder was in very bad condition, it was decided to carry out operation. As soon as I came back to my room, In fifteen minutes time I was informed that I will be operated in next fifteen minute time. My mom and elder sister were at home. My dad and younger sis was with me. My dad went for formalities. I and my sister were about to leave room, sweeper came to clean up the room (they choose such time for obvious reason). I asked my sis to get room cleaned, lock it up and then come to operation theater and I went away with nurse for operation.
With dad busy for formalities and younger sister getting room cleaned up, I went all by myself to OT. After formalities I was taken to operating table. Anesthestic was preparing injection to be given to me, and i saw male nurses around me and I was shock. And I just asked doctor Are these guys going to be around when I would be operated???? Doctor panicked. I could see him tense, I didn't understood why he was tensed?? With tension clearly visible on his head and injection he asked me why??? seeing him tensed I got bit tensed. The Surgeon who happens to be son of my grandfather's friend came rushing. I understood I have done something wrong which I was not supposed to. I repeated my question, he asked me why???? I said I am not properly dressed...he said don't worry about it...and It striked me why the anethestic became tense....I could sense his fear, to calm down situation, I told both the doctors I am not worried about anything accept anesthisia again i could see anesthitic panicking. Now I felt i need to create humor to bring down tension i have created. So I told them what had happened with the doctor who has operated me before for my wrist injury. One of his patient taking benefit of anesthisia even after gaining sense abused the doctor to best of her abilities. Hearing this both the doctor and staff standing around me started laughing. Even I started laughing, I had to...otherwise things could go wrong and poor doctors will bear the blame. I was assured by doctor if I feel i can abuse them as much as I want, by the time I was anesthsia was injected and before going to my fav. sleep I said don't worry i have my target clear, you guys don't come in my list as per now. And I went to transced and what happened after that was none of my business. When I gain I sense the first thing i saw was clock on the wall which showed 2.30 pm so It was almost 4 hours. To check whether i was fully back, my doctor wished me good morning and I replied good afternoon to him and the smile he had on his face was enough to inform me I was alive and back from my beauty sleep.
So friends even after undergoing two surgery I would tell you don't worry about anykind of surgery, if you have to die you will die anyhow, but don't die just by hearing all nonsense people tell you about surgeries. Let doctors do their job and you enjoy your beauty sleep why being operated...

Going for Surgery????
You have to undergo Surgery, this one sentence kills many even before actul surgery is performed. Surgery is one thing which we all want to avoid because none of us want to die. Many people especially heart patient have died even before they were operated. Simply because they have heard 'n' numbers of stories regarding operation. Majority of them are false and exaggerated.
Having under gone two surgery one for wrist fracture and second for gall bladder removal, I felt i should share my experience with rest of the world, so all those who are scared of undergoing surgery may be benefit ted with my experience.
My first surgery was six year back when I fell from a height and broke my wrist. Well when I came down from high stool on floor, i felt whole world going wrommm wrommm. I felt pain in my knees, hand, head. My family was on first floor so I got up, I could see my left swelling, I took my left hand in right hand and went downstairs, but the way I was no one one thought i had fracture, they even asked me to have coffee, presuming that I was joking about fracture. After I had coffee with my right hand, my mother noticed my left hand swelling badly. She understood it was fracture. I was rushed to hospital, unfortunately it being two days festive holiday, finding doctor was one big problem. Fortunately one known doctor was in city. The way i was walking with chilling pain and smile on my face no one in hospital thought that I was having severe fracture.
GOLDEN RULE : When ever you are in pain keep smiling, it reduces pain and stops unnecessary panic around you.
After X-ray was taken, doctor declared I have to undergone surgery. Anesthesia speciality was called. Till then I didn't knew what surgery was all about and what the hell anesthesia was. As I have drank coffee I had to wait for next 3 hours before I could be given anesthesia.
Golden Rule : ALWAYS REMEMBER IF YOU MEET WITH ACCIDENT AVOID FOOD, DRINK etc. It will only make you wait for longer time with pain.
Although i was given Pain killers, it was worst pain. We didn't inform anyone about accident. Reason, it was festive days and second majority of people have horrifying stories to tell you about operations going wrong, which in reality are very few in numbers.
Golden Rule : Call as many as less people for help as possible, more the people around, more scary stories.
In mean time, I called upon my Rekie teachers to give me rekie to lessen the pain. Both of them started giving me rekie, helping me in bearing the pain.
Golden Rule: Go for holistic healing it helps.
After three hours of pain for time pass, finally I was taken into operation theater. Anesthetic prepared his injection, and inserted into some tube attached to my right hand. Rather than panicking i started experiencing everything that was happening...slowly slowly i was feeling dizzy and there came a time when i told my doctor now I am feeling i will sleep and I went to sleep...then I don't want happened with me...It was was none of my business, it was doctors job,
GOLDEN RULE: Don't worry about operation, it is doctor's job not ours...They know their job well...just enjoy the sleep you get under anesthesia's effect.
All I remember when I woke up i had my mom, dad, sister, two three family friends around me. I was feeling good. I could see my my family smiling. Well you will only be able to see your family smiling after operation, if you co-operate. Rather than panicking, thinking about dying, always make a point to think good good thoughts before operation, it helps doctors to do their job properly.
People who die before or during operations are those who go in for operations raising their and doctor's BP high.
GOLDEN RULE: Never ever tell rubbish stories to patient who is undergoing any kind of surgery. It never helps....
